It gives you a solid layer of protection ,Just make sure the zipper, veil, cuffs, and ankles are fully closed before heading to the hive.

Yes. It’s made to give you good coverage without feeling stiff or bulky. There’s still plenty of room to bend, reach, and move around while you’re working the hive.

Am I going to get really hot in this?
It can get warm on really hot days—any bee suit will—but this one is made to allow better airflow. Lightweight clothes underneath definitely help, especially if you’ll be outside for a while.

The closures are designed to keep gaps to a minimum. Just double-check that the main zipper, veil, wrists, and ankles are fully closed before you start working with the bees.

Honestly better than I expected. I’m 6'1" and went with the XL so I’d have a little extra room underneath. Fits great, easy to move around in, and the veil stays off my face. Used it for two hive inspections already and felt much more comfortable around the bees.

New to beekeeping I was given a cotton bee suit. It was a bit small for me but used it a couple of times and got a fair few stings through the suit. Upgraded to the flow mesh suit and havnt had another sting yet. It is better fitting and much better protection

What I like most is the hood. It keeps the mesh far enough away from my face and I can actually see what I’m doing. Zippers also feel much sturdier than the ones on my last suit.
